I do admire your skill with pedestrians. But I suppose someone travelling in the back could have picked them off by opening the door sharply?
I hadn't thought of that...but we did pick up the hitchiker. He said he is walking froom the top of Scotland to the south of England and hopes to arrive by August. He was very odd.
Odd and a fast walker! I've always said walking long distances is bad for you. I try to limit my walking - no more at any one time than the distance from the car to the nearest view.
So he evidently cheated before he even crossed the border out of Wester Ross.
Soaring: Quite so but I bet he catches a train down South and still tells everyone he walked.
