Invisible communication

So, I am in full cycling gear which means that nobody recognises me behind glasses, under helmet, and wrapped up in lycra. And, I am stopping off at the outdoor terrace cafe, and the invisible wife is in her usual seat where she can pick up wi fi on her laptop. She has been in this seat every morning for six months now, for hours and hours. I don't pass by this way often but my spies do. This is the first time I have seen her out and about in town.
She no longer sleeps next door and arrives back early morning, and this I know because one of the spies is having his first smoke of the day on the porch at this time.
She must be getting a bit bored? Where's Henry?

Maureen & Co.

These people have been hibernating for a while but now they are rat tat tatting at the door of my brain. Are they coming in or going out, I'm not sure but it's nice to see them. I can't get Bob's nose right.

I am listening to Women's hour. I don't know why I do this sometimes, the programme drives me nuts. I don't care about epidurals. Nor am I interested in the first woman to do anything as if it is amazing that a woman should be first at all. But it is not as bad as "Loose Women" which drives me completely mental and I cannot watch it for more than fifteen seconds. Life is better with headphones on.

Tell me about yourself.

Rat a tat tat. Roof tiles smashing onto the ground. Plastic bags and branches flying by. Walk in the middle of the road weather. Watch out for falling pine trees.

It's time to bring back Maureen. I just have to figure out again what she looks like.

Full scottish breakfast (battered)

Just finished watching "The Illusionist". Wowee zowee...The most incredible animation I have EVER seen. I'm speechless. I lived in Edinburgh for five years as an art student so can vouch for the utter authenticity of the scenes set there. Wonderful story.
The light and magic of the highland scenes is spot on.
I have also met the happy guy in the kilt many times. You have to see this film . Be sure to watch "behind the scenes" as well.
Beware, many tear-jerking moments.

Curiouser and curiouser

I know there's something weird with the universe when after spending half an hour trying to figure out how to transfer my newly arrived DVD of  "The Illusionist" onto my ipod (which I don't know how to use)...when I glance over at the sidebar on my blog and  see this....

Anyone out there know what's going on? I actually find this very funny...I mean what are the chances?
