Yellow Sky

It is because of this video that I have ordered a Yamaha guitalele. Whether I can make it sounds as nice as her is probably impossible but it's going to be a lot of fun. The price is jolly reasonable, the same as a pair of shoes...well, not Jimmy Choos, shoos whatever.

Alice who used to be Frank came for an Easter lamb last night and she almost drowned in the rain when she went home because her ten stone retriever wouldn't get out the back of her car because it was thundering and lightning. It took her ten minutes to get the dog to move, then when she got to the front door the electricity went off. So, it took another ten minutes to get in the house with a ten stone, but probably by now eleven stone dog, including water content.

The village is bursting at the seams. The traffic is on acid. It's Easter in Spain.

This is a game for making up the name of your band, getting the words for the title of first song and borrowing a photo from Flickr...putting it all together in voila...there's your album. I'm not sure if it's okay to use an image from Flickr, I'll check that tomorrow.

1 - Go to "wikipedia." Hit “random... Read More”
or click
The first random wikipedia article you get is the name of your band.

2 - Go to "Random quotations"
or click
The last four or five words of the very last quote of the page is the title of your first album.

3 - Go to flickr and click on “explore the last seven days”
or click
Third picture, no matter what it is, will be your album cover.

4 - Use photoshop or similar to put it all together.
And visit the rest of Chris Parry's site.

What a difference the music makes

Or this version?

Magic Castanets

Just discovered some drawings from last year which I thought I had lost. Hooray. Also discovered a site called
which allows you to make short videos but the one I made looks distinctly fuzzy. It's about time I got some decent software to do this sort of stuff.
Here's the result. Don't blame the music on me.

And to my dear friend in Madrid...Did you finally cut your hair and grow up? And I don't care if Henry Kissinger asked you out.

Accidents Happen

It's bucketing, raining, pouring, howling. Arthur is asleep in the cupboard. The above is in Mango Studio Demo and Photoshop.
Here's a link to one of my favourite animators.

Proud Mother

Because it is like sitting in the middle of a cloud today here's a link to'll either find it funny or think it's daft but I liked it...though I'm not sure if I would watch it again.

The town is shutting down getting ready for Easter. The beach bars have opened. Had a major panic attack on the beach so that's me not going there for a bit. Good job I'm not a surgeon or anything.

Because it's beautiful

Baby Talk

And sometimes it's just a lot easier to use the less complicated programmes like Corel Painter Essentials 2.
I really like drawing speech balloons but had to twiddle around because I kept cutting pieces of the lady's head off when I pasted in the balloon.
Last night I dreamed of (no, not Manderly) a donkey in a roofless attic. I couldn't work out how you would get a donkey up a rickety wooden ladder.
A) I don't have a donkey
B) I don't have an attic.
C) I didn't even eat cheese before sleeping so it wasn't a cheese or a curry dream.
