Dinner Date Again

I did this years and years ago but I guess some things never change. The real reason I posted is so you can see this video. It immediately makes me want to set up the camera and make one. It really made me laugh. But you don't have to watch it. You may prefer to read The Guardian or do a crossword.

  1. How did you know I spend most of my time reading the Guardian and doing crosswords? Am I that transparent? Or has sitemeter got a camera in my living room? or on my Yorkshire moor?

  2. I really like your cartoon! You should get them published if you haven't already.

  3. Oh it's just the Scottish second sight I have. You were probably a rock star at some point. My site meter is amazing.

  4. Jessie, I would love to send off cartoons but I always get cold feet!

  5. Tim...forgot to say that I do have a camera in your dishwasher. That teaspoon that vanished is in there.

  6. You should try sending a sample to the Guardian (a newspaper I occasionally read ...). They used to do a strip on Fridays, after Steve Bell had returned to his constituency or whatever he does, but they seem to have dropped it - perhaps they're short of candidates? The last one was Karrie Fransman - google her, you might like some of her stuff.
PS My teaspoons do not vanish, they dissolve in the tea. Enjoy the view of the debris from my dinner tonight. Seared wild alaskan salmon with rocket salad and buttered Jersey Royal potatoes, in case you were wondering.

  7. My project this year is to send off a whole bunch of cartoons and look forward to some new rejection letters. I even have one from Mill and Boon for a bad romance I wrote, ha, ha.
Next time invite me. Salmon is my favourite.
