Spectacular thunderstorm last night. Me, as usual, standing in the rising water, shovelling dead leaves away from the drain. Rain hissing down, like curtain rods, I think the expression is. And, I'm thinking...huh, funny, last time I did this I then went and stood on a telephone wire inside the house, with bare feet and BANG, electricity shooting into the house and straight into my big toe and out again.
At least there's no lightning today, I thought.....BANG.
