Self portrait

Someday I'll have to get out my water colours...just for the sheer novelty of it all. Biscuit tins of oil paints hardening in the garage. Hundreds of pencils , pens and ink in the cupboards. Packets of chalk and tubes of glue, sequins and marbles, sable brushes, masking tape, every story I have ever typed, endless cameras dating back to 1974, sketchbooks, glass things, ceramic things. I have finally turned into my mother whom my father affectionately called "squirrel" .

  2. I'll get out my crayons. I'm sure they're squirreled away somewhere.

  3. Here, there's that bag labelled 'stones, bones, shards and shells', the folder 'strange shiny paper', and the box 'random art stuff'...

  4. Oh it's been an age and a half since I've been out blog visiting! I wonder how many works of art are lurking amongst your paraphenalia just wAITing to be made? ;) xx
