Basil plant planted...and I fell for a giant Agapanthus which between you and me is a bluebell-coloured pom-pom of a flower on the end of a long stem. It is so incredible that instead of planting it outside it is sitting right here next to the guitar. Yesterday, I got right through "Paseo" without looking at the music. Hooray. Here it is played by Anne-Mari. I would blush to put my version alongside her,

Hi Rosie, I'll have a listen when I'm back home (working in shop at mo.) I hope this comment gets through. :)xx
ReplyDeleteIt got through. Are you still playing?
ReplyDeleteHere, the large agapanthus is classed as a Noxious Weed--like many things that grow well in my garden.
ReplyDeleteRosie, my dear
ReplyDeleteThe music is gorgeous........thank you.
By the way, Agapanthus (or Lilies of the Nile) really want to be outdoors in full sun......no too much water. However, I guess you can enjoy the blossoms in doors for a while.
Here in Calif. they only bloom once a year in late spring. Tne leaves stay green all year. I love 'em.
Thanks, Lo. It's now outside!
ReplyDeleteElizT. Well, mine will probably die in a couple of weeks.
I have a basil plant on the window sill in the kitchen. It's a bit of a triumph since it was a supermarket eating plant and has survived two months of my special brand of plant nurture (usually it kills them).
ReplyDeleteWith me they either grow like mad or die within a week.
