The sea mist is down. I am strangely restless with no wacom tablet and am actually considering getting out paper and paint. The last time I used watercolours was making the Christmas cards.
Too cold to cycle but here's a beautiful Baden Powell piece.

New set of people in the guitar trio, which depending on the moon is either a trio, a duo or a quartet. I thought I recognised the lady next to me. She said "What's your surname?" So I told her. "Ah yes, number 19. You get a lot of books from Amazon."
That's right...she's Pia the postman...lady.

Laptop, black screen.
Windows is so terribly sorry for the inconvenience but it can't open Windows properly. Have you tried F8? Yes, I have. Do you want it to start normally? Yes, please, that would be terrific. Do you want to start the computer with the last successful configuration? Yes, super.
Did any of it work? No.
The laptop is on the fritz. The usb ports don't work on this one so I can't use the Wacom tablet. Why do computers do this? It was fine yesterday.

Ascot Hat
This woman has popped out of the wacom tablet before. Last time I saw her she was writing a letter in a tea shop. I see she has a new hat. If I worked in the fashion industry people would pay a fortune for this design.
I've actually been drawing for the last hour and nothing but nothing was right. This woman took ninety seconds to make and came from nowhere.

Wee Mental Break
Here's a link to one minute and forty seconds of the seaside here. Taken this morning. The first day the wind has not been howling in months. Hooray.

The Scariest Ride in the Universe
Playing in Ultrafractal 4.0 and suddenly thought of this. Then I thought what is it? It's the scariest ride in the universe. One of the things I love about fractals apart from their obvious perfection is that so often they are other worlds to fall into. Can you imagine such a ride above a universe? Seat belts, hold tight, ha, ha.

Zenith
Everybody in the town is asleep right now because it was carnival yesterday which explains why there were so many four foot tall vampires on the way home on Friday. So last night was party night and they are very upset in the next town that the ayuntamiento didn't dish out hot chocolate like they usually do.
Everybody talks about the crisis here, but quite honestly, all the locals own vast tracts of land which they sell off periodically, or have restaurants, gas stations, many apartments that they rent out and they all go to the Dominican Republic after Christmas. The son of the lace teacher here owns all the one armed bandits and pinball machines between here and Valencia. But at least the sun brightens up the world here.
