Dance

This makes up for the fact that it never even got light today and the drizzle is as fine as the West coast of Scotland.
I've downloaded the trial of Toon Boom....oh, oh.

Which one is you?

Blue sky. The almond blossom is out. The air smells of honey and a million bees in the trees. Hooray again.

Something in the Air

My absolute heroine, Tove Jansson. My grandmother's neighbour used to read to me from this very book which sat on a bookshelf outside her kitchen in a village called Bryant's Bottom.

Then, I read from this book to my daughter when she was small and we wrote to Tove Jansson many years ago, filling the envelope with drawings and flowers and a list of countries where all my Moomintroll books had lived and she wrote back a long, wonderful letter with pages of stickers and postcards.

I still dip into her books and am back in the world of sunshine, rowing boats and adventure.

Peep Peep.

Some birds have started squeaking in the carob tree. The earth is warm to touch, the sky full of moomintroll clouds. The wind blowing at forty knots. Hooray.

Sophisticated Ladies.

Click pic to save you getting your specs out.

Alice who used to be Frank is back from Britain. She's wrecked, has the flu, and said it was all very depressing and cold.

I am warning myself not to watch the Baftas but I probably will. Award ceremonies make me mad but it's probably because I am not six feet tall and I don't have any beautifully cut silk dresses.

The haircut has calmed down from looking like Ken Dodd but now looks like that weird female gardener on tv...the one that shouts a lot. I didn't think it could get worse.

Here's some harmonica...
