I hadn't thought of that...but we did pick up the hitchiker. He said he is walking froom the top of Scotland to the south of England and hopes to arrive by August. He was very odd.
Odd and a fast walker! I've always said walking long distances is bad for you. I try to limit my walking - no more at any one time than the distance from the car to the nearest view.
I do admire your skill with pedestrians. But I suppose someone travelling in the back could have picked them off by opening the door sharply?
