Party Shoes

I've been reading about Nakimi fountain pens which sound like paradise to draw with...as well as being beautifully made and a work of art in themselves. Unfortunately I will have to wait until I win the lottery before I can nip out and buy one. So, this drawing is with my old fountain pen from the chinese shop down the road. I may use it to draw a weather girl. Have you ever noticed how all the weather girls on the television all share the same pair of shiny, black, rather, oddly-designed high heels?

No global warming in these parts. It's an ice age here. It actually snowed and snowed and snowed.

The trio is up and running again but because it was the first time after the christmas break there was an awful lot of giggling apart from when one of the ladies started singing a mournful flamenco type song then everybody shed a tear or two. I had never heard her sing before. Talk about goosebumps. It's not often I get to hear someone sing sitting right next to me. I wish I could still sing...

  1. Can't say I'd noticed those weather girl shoes.
But their clothes are always too tight.
    I love the sketch.

  2. Ha, ha. How about an illustrated booklet on sensible clothes for the modern woman...?
