Ramirez

The doorbell rang...I put my guitar on top of the table...today I realise why the smell of burning is still around. I just found a deep burn the size of a milk bottle top in the back of the guitar which I've had for 27 years. How could I have done that? I am desolated.

  2. Hi Jessie, I'm gutted. It's much more than a guitar to me. I think the whole of the back would have to be replaced. At least the sound is still there and it hasn't gone right through but nearly.

  3. "Pick me up and play me. I'm still your friend."
Sometimes we hurt the ones we love.
But your sound has survived, it's made it through fire -
Pick up and play. Anger and sorrow go away.

  5. Sorry to hear about your Ramirez. I had an Asturias of 21 years, it got punctured by a gas engineer after he knocked the music stand on to it! Their insurence paid for most of the cost towards a new Ramirez.

  6. Well, guitars are sort of like a family member and you never forget them.
